Sumo Party is a fast-paced multiplayer sports game where bulky wrestlers clash to knock each other out of a circular dohyo. Created by Playtouch, the game strips traditional combat down to timing and momentum: competitors constantly rotate, waiting for the right second to lunge ahead and push opponents over the edge.

Every match turns into a frantic scramble for positioning. Because each wrestler moves forward only while their designated button is held down, winning requires balancing aggressive charges with defensive patience so you do not accidentally throw yourself out of bounds.

How to play Sumo Party

The objective in every round is simple: be the final wrestler remaining inside the ring. When the countdown ends, all combatants spin automatically until a player activates their movement input.

• Single player or player one: hold W to move forward.
• Player two: hold A to move forward.
• Player three: hold / to move forward.
• Player four: hold P to move forward.
• Mobile touchscreens: hold the button in the corner to move forward.

Releasing your button stops your forward drive and resumes your rotation. Timing your forward push lets you steer toward an enemy flank, ram them toward the perimeter, or dodge when an eager opponent dashes past you into open air.

Multiplayer Ring Matches

Sumo Party supports up to four players on the same keyboard or screen, making it an ideal local party showdown. Matches with multiple competitors create unpredictable collisions, where two colliding wrestlers might bounce off each other directly into a third contestant. Surviving the chaos requires monitoring every opponent at once rather than fixating on a single target.

Tactical Tips for the Ring

• Wait for opponents to commit to a dash before moving, then strike their side while they recover.
• Stay near the center of the mat to give yourself plenty of room to recover after collisions.
• Feint by tapping your input briefly to bait another wrestler into overshooting past the boundary line.
• In four-player bouts, let other wrestlers trade heavy hits before swooping in to eliminate the survivor.
